Eve Violeta Gauna Piragine (Corrientes, Argentina) is gradually becoming one of the best-known poets in her realm. She has written many poems of supreme quality, yet living in her north-western corner of Argentina, Diagraph proposed her to publish work for Spain, the rest of Europe, and the United States where Spanish is on the rise. For Lourdes Ventura (Palencia, Spain, 1956) novelist, essayist, literary critic and specialist in women's literature, Diagraph will publish the English translation of of her novel El poeta sin párpados (The Poet without Eyelids), about the Spanish poet Gustavo Bequér, which in the French translation published by Buchet Chastel in 2005, was finalist in 2006 of the Jean Monnet Prize of European Literature.
Diagraph Books will translate this moving novel into Dutch as De Dichter zonder Oogleden.
